This design features The Dark Crystal, originally released to theaters in 1982. This film has a dark fantasy aesthetic that is carried out in the poster, drawing the viewing into a world full of adventure.
Solution
Utilizing Photoshop, create a composite by blending various photo and art elements together. Theme has to be expandable to mobile and web platforms, as well as have both an official movie poster and a call to action version.
Various images were gathered from the internet and official Dark Crystal pages, combined with textures to create a unique effect of imagery popping out from a manuscript.
