Tasked with creating a realistic vector artwork for Fujifilm's Instax mini Evo, an instant to print film camera with different lenses and effects to help people celebrate and share their experiences with an artistic flair. This project creates scalable product artwork that can be utilized for various ad campaigns, websites, and other media.
Harnessing the power of vectors, use Adobe Illustrator to render a product illustration that would be be realistic in appearance and scalable for various media with out loss of detail. Since Instax mini Evo comes in two versions, black leather and brown leather, two variations would be designed.

To build out the camera, outlines were created for the base shapes and layers. Color was filled in utilizing linear and freeform gradients to render shadows and metallic shine. Layers of noise and texture patterns helped mimic plastic and leather textures.
The ability to instantly print out film in a Polaroid camera style fashion is a key feature of the Instax mini Evo. Most advertising would make use of examples, and the ability to quickly generate many film examples is needed. To accomplish this task, vector illustrations of film were rendered in the same fashion as the cameras. Photographs can easily be inserted into a frame to create printed examples.
While adhering to Fujifilm brand identity, the vector illustrations can be combined together to create a verity of campaign media, from posters to webpages. The artwork can quickly be scaled and rotated as needed to create eye catching compositions. The printed film vectors can be generated and "piled" together for a fun visual, lending support to the slogan, "Make a pile of memories, Instantly".
